CapTim captures timesheets via scanners, email, fax or the internet. Handwriting, machine print, tick marks and bar codes are recognised and business rules applied. Rules may include the validation of weekly or hourly totals and database lookups to ensure references or rates presented are correct. Calculation errors, illegible entries or information failing validation is displayed to an operator for interpretation. Information is then exported to backend systems such as payroll, client database, third party imaging systems or the optional CapTim Document Server. The CapTim Document Server automatically stores and indexes all processed timesheets. Customer queries can now be responded to by print, email or network fax in a matter of seconds.
