Overview

Inpute are the experts in implementing POD solutions that provide real business benefits to the distribution and logistics industry. We have helped industry leaders such as An Post (view case study) and Nightline deploy systems that automatically capture, index, store and retrieve paper and electronic POD documents, with the minimum of human intervention.

PODs can be captured locally, remotely, via fax or PDA technology. Documents can be automatically indexed using a combination of ICR, OCR, and Bar Code recognition. Torn or damaged POD cards are highlighted for repair, but with recognition rates typically over 96%, these are kept to a minimum. PODs are saved in a document repository and can be indexed by multiple criteria including delivery date, route, branch, driver, and POD number. This data can also be exported to external systems such as route management or tracking databases.

In seconds, Customer Service agents can retrieve and forward PODs using our thin client application. With integration to popular emails and fax servers, PODs can be emailed, faxed or printed. Our Self Service module allows documents to be viewed online, or PODs can be emailed or faxed automatically to clients on entry of contact details.
