Inpute launches version 2.3.5 of the hugely successful Inpute Capture Module. The principal enhancement in this release is the ability to flag to users that mandatory indexing information has not been captured / recognised at scan time, and offer them the opportunity to manually enter this information on-the-fly against the documents that are missing it. This facility is ideally suited for capturing and adding missing indexing data associated with the non recognition of torn or damaged bar codes. Additionally Inpute have added support for the capture of data from 2D bar codes (PDF 417). The ICM is a modular standalone scanning solution that is widely used by organisations to scan documents, read bar codes and export to a wide variety of third partly document imaging repositories, network locations or in-house bespoke solutions.
