Inpute Technologies are delighted to announce the release of TeleForm V10. Cardiff Teleform v10 expands on fifteen years as a standard in the information capture industry and now automatically classifies, extracts and validates the data from any paper document or form type, in order to improve data accuracy, reduce operating costs and accelerate business processes. On a single platform, TeleForm v10 accelerates high-volume, high-accuracy information capture from paper and documents that are structured, semi- or unstructured in nature, received from either centralised or distributed locations. Additionally, TeleForm v10 provides the deep and secure level of auditing and reporting required for compliance in heavily regulated industries.

While the changes incorporated in TeleForm v9 concentrated on the backend, v10 provides significant enhancements to the document capture functionality of the platform. Historically Teleform was used to scan and extract data from structured forms. V10 now allows users to extract data from both scanned documents and also electronic files such as PDF, Word documents and even eMails. The platform also provides document classification functionality which?s allows the system to classify a captured document by referencing the content of a document.

We are particularly excited about the new intelligent capture functionality that has been announced. Cardiff has teamed up with OCE and now, TeleForm can be used to automatically capture data from semi structured documents such as supplier invoices. By plugging in the OCE DOKuStar recognition engine, details such as supplier name, PO and invoice number, line items and values can be extracted intelligently without the need to create a form template for each supplier.
