Alliance Nurses Agency is the leading and longest established agency in Ireland providing locum nurses and Health Care Assistants to both the public and private sector. It's here that Inpute Technologies recently implemented a forms processing and imaging solution based on the Cardiff TELEform and Inpute IDS (Inpute Document Server) products. The scope the first phase of this project included the redesign of Alliance's application forms to allow the agency to maximise the benefits of forms processing technology.

The deployed solution now ensures that application forms are processed and stored more quickly and more efficiently, with the minimum amount of operator intervention. Using a combination of ICR and OMR, application forms are scanned, recognised and validated using Cardiff TELEform. Images and their associated indexing information are exported automatically to the Inpute Document Server whilst data captured is exported to Alliance's CRM system.

Phase two of the project is planned to commence in later this year and will incorporate the redesign and processing of timesheets received from Alliance's agency nurses. The solution will scan, read and verify timesheets largely without user intervention. Validated data will be imported into Alliances host system while the images of the timesheets are stored in the Inpute Document Server should a copy be required in the future.
