Revenue "Go Live" with Forms Processing Solution from Inpute Technologies

25th February 2003. Inpute Technologies - a leading provider of imaging and forms processing solutions today announced that Revenue have implemented a solution from Inpute to automate the collection of data from more than 460,000 P35 forms received annually.

Following an open competition, Revenue selected the Cardiff TELEform based solution proposed by Dublin based Inpute Technologies. Inpute's solution automatically captures and verifies data from scanned forms.

By automatically interpreting handwriting, machine print, barcodes, circle responses, and tick boxes TELEform virtually eliminates the errors that commonly occur with manual data entry. In addition, TELEform further increases data accuracy by checking the calculations in order to verify that the correct data has been input on the P35 declaration form.
