Software Support Analyst (Ref: SupJuly08)

Inpute Technologies specialise in the design, development and implementation of intelligent document capture solutions. Solutions that streamline the capture, extraction and validation of data from paper and electronic documents. Inpute Technologies' clients include organisations such as the Revenue Commissioners; An Post; VHI Healthcare; Ryanair; BWG Foods; the Central Statistics Office; FÁS and the Department of Social and Family Affairs.

Job Description

We’re expanding our team and have excellent opportunities for a software support analyst. The successful candidate with be the initial contact for customers reporting support issues. The role will involve initial diagnostics and the escalation and monitoring of all support calls. The role also includes support of Inpute Technologies internal IT infrastructure and also software development in .NET and VBA.

This role is an ideal opportunity for an IT graduate would wishes to work with a dynamic, motivated and experienced team. Excellent organisational skills, ability to work in a multi-tasked environment and as a part of a team is important in this role.

Responsibilities

Help Desk
  • Responsible for handling and managing help desk
  • Ensuring calls are logged and forwarded to the appropriate resources
  • Where appropriate be in a position to take and handle support calls without need to refer to colleagues
  • Daily following up with consultants to ensure actions have been undertaken
  • To report to Support manager issues that need to be brought his attention
  • Keeping clients informed of actions been taken to resolve issues
  • Responsible for the preparation and issuing of client support reports
Development
  • Working with development to resolve development related support issues
  • Assisting with the preparation and development of client change requests
  • The ideal candidate will over a period of time take responsibility to develop and implement ad hoc client projects using VBA, .NET and database technologies
In-House Systems & Demonstrations
  • Oversee the day to day management of Inpute IT network

Qualifications

  • IT related University degree
  • Ideal candidate would have experience in VBA. .NET, OOP and/or relational database experience an advantage but not essential.

Inpute Technologies are based in Dundrum, Dublin 14 and are located close to the Luas station and Dundrum Village.
